Court Information for July 15

The TN Supreme Court issued an order requiring the wearing of masks while conducting court business for all courts in Tennessee.  This will apply to the City of Waverly Municipal Court, which will be held this week on Wednesday, July 15 at 2 pm.  This is the first time we will hold in-person court proceeding since the emergency orders have been in place.  Cases from the May court date were reset for July 15.

All persons having business before the court will be required to wear a mask when entering the building.  We will have masks available at the front door.  There will be limited seating in the court room.  If the seating reaches maximum capacity, we will ask that you remain outside the building until your case is called.  Officers will be on hand to assist and for check-in at the front door.  It is recommended that social distancing is practiced while on the property.

Please do not bring children into the courtroom.  If you have a medical condition that would place you at high risk, please contact our court clerk at 931-296-4300 to make arrangements prior to court.
