Elliott Promoted to Sergeant

Chief David Daniel promoted Officer Devin Elliott to the rank of Sergeant on Wednesday.  He will become the evening/night shift supervisor and is also the department training officer.  “Sgt. Elliott has done an outstanding job and has emerged as a true leader in this department.  He will excel in his new supervisory responsibilities,” said Chief Daniel. 

Sgt. Elliott has been a member of the Dept. of Public Safety since 2006 and has over 6 years of law enforcement experience.  Sgt. Elliott lives in Waverly with his wife Alicia, who is the Asst. Director at the Humphreys County 911 Center.  They have one daughter.
