Engine 3
Engine 3 is a 1978 American Lafrance truck that was purchased to replace equipment lost in the 1978 Propane Tanker Explosion in Waverly. The Engine is used as a backup engine for structure fires and carries 750 gallons of water. It is capable of pumping 1,250 gallons of water per minute and has a side pump panel. The cab is an open design and can carry 4 firefighters.
The truck carries equipment for the suppression of structure fires and is deployed from Station 2. This engine was the primary engine of the Waverly Fire Department for many years following the 1978 Disaster.
