Engine 5
Engine 5 is the department’s primary truck for brush and woodland fires. It also serves as a secondary truck for structure fires. Engine 5 is a 1990 Ford truck and has a 500 gallon tank. It has a side pump panel and is capable of pumping 1,250 gallons per minute.
Equiped primarily to suppress wildland and brush fires, it sports a booster reel with 1,000 ft of collapsible 1″ wildland fire hose as well as rakes and flappers. It also carries a portable 2″ monitor and air packs. The truck can carry up to 3 firefighters and is deployed from Station 1.
