The community fireworks event co-sponsored by the City of Waverly, Music on the Square, and Temple-Inland will be held Saturday, July 3, at Waverly Central High School.  Music on the Square will be held inside the football stadium beginning at 7:00 pm, with the fireworks at 9:30 pm.  The fireworks show will be handled by Pyro-Shows and accompanying music will be played on the stadium sound system as well as on WQMV AM 1060.

The Dept. of Public Safety encourages everyone to be safe during the event.  Open alcohol is not allowed at the event.

A command post (Police, Fire, and EMS) will be located at the southeast corner of the stadium.  In the event of an emergency, dial 911 for assistance.  For non-emergency assistance, call 296-7792 or come by the command post.

Handicapped parking is available in the rear of the Vocational School in a designated parking lot.  Self parking will be available at the school.

Parking will not be allowed along Hwy 70 in front of the school, and the 20 mph school zone will be in effect during the event.  Police Officers and Firefighters will assist with exiting traffic at the entrance closest to the stadium following the event.
