Recent Business Burglaries

The City of Waverly, as well as surrounding cities and counties, have experienced a rash of recent burglaries during overnight hours.  The burglars are targeting various businesses and gaining entry to the buildings by breaking a window.  They have mainly taken money and collectible coins.

If you have any information that could lead to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for these or any other crimes please contact the Waverly Police Department (931-296-4300) or Crime Stoppers (931-296-2414).  An anonymous cash reward may be authorized for certain leads which result in arrests and convictions.

Business owners are encouraged not to leave cash inside their businesses after hours, and everyone is encouraged to report any suspicious persons or activity by dialing 911 or 296-4300.
