Some Flooding Resources/Updates

The Dept of Public Safety has composed a list of links for your information to assist in flooding recovery.  We will attempt to keep current information posted on our website.

As of today, all roads within the City of Waverly are open, but be cautious of damaged road surfaces and wash-outs on the side of some roads.  Many county roads remain closed as several bridges and culverts are washed out.  Please remain cautious.

Members of the Dept of Public Safety are surveying the city for damages and may be in your neighborhood in the coming days.  Please call the Humhphreys County Emergency Management Office at 931-296-3442 ext. 3 to report damage to your home or business and start the process of applying for federal assistance.  We will attempt to keep everyone updated on our website as this process moves forward.

The City’s water system is functioning normally at this time and no outages are expected.  The City of Waverly Water Department continues to work dilligently to keep water to the city and all outlying areas during this crisis.
