WPD to Offer S.A.F.E. Program for Women

Officer Joe Parnell recently received his instructor certification from the National Self-Defense Institute.  Parnell is now certified to teach the Self-defense Awareness & Familiarization Exchange (S.A.F.E.) Program.  S.A.F.E. is a two hour program designed to introduce women to basic self-defense familiarization and tactics.  The class emphasizes to women the importance of not being an easy target of violent crime.
