Due to the order from the TN Supreme Court related to Covid-19, all City of Waverly Municipal Court Cases set for March 10, have been reset to May 12, 2021 at 2 p.m. If you have any questions about your court date, you can call the court clerk at 931-296-4300. This is City Court, not Humphreys Co. General Sessions or Circuit Court.

On February 10, 2021, at approx. 145pm, Waverly Police Officers were notified of a police pursuit entering the city limits on Hwy 70 West. The suspect who was driving a stolen vehicle was being pursued by Carrol County Sheriff’s deputies. He had also rammed another vehicle as the pursuit went through Benton County and was also wanted on outstanding warrants in Carroll County.
