Fatal Crash on Hwy 70/Clydeton Rd

Press ReleaseFebruary 10, 2021 On February 10, 2021, at approx. 145pm, Waverly Police Officers were notified of a police pursuit entering the city limits on Hwy 70 West.  The suspect who was driving a stolen vehicle was being pursued by Carrol County Sheriff’s deputies. Court Information for July 15

The TN Supreme Court issued an order requiring the wearing of masks while conducting court business for all courts in Tennessee.  This will apply to the City of Waverly Municipal Court, which will be held this week on Wednesday, July 15 at 2 pm.  This is the first time we will hold in-person court proceeding since the emergency orders have been in place.  Cases from the May court date were reset for July 15.
