Media ReleaseJune 24, 2019 Pair Charged in Burglary to WJHS On June 20, The Waverly Police Department responded to a report of a burglary at the Waverly Junior High School. Sgt. Shaun Wilson found that 2 intruders had entered an unlocked door at the rear of the school and ransacked several classrooms. They also took a few items from the school. Sgt. Officer David Ross and his K9 partner Crockett did a demonstration for the 3rd Grade class at Waverly Elementary School.  The kids enjoyed a drug detection demo as well as an apprehension bite demo.  Sgt. Shaun Wilson and Officer Jordan Coble helped with the event.

2018 Police Officer of the Year
