FEMA at the Fire Hall This Week

The FEMA service center is now open. Hours will be 7am-7pm. They are working from the City of Waverly Fire Hall next door to the Police Department on Main St. FEMA representatives will be at the City of Waverly Fire Hall on East Main St on Wednesday, May 19th from 12 noon to 7pm. Then starting Thursday, May 20th from 7am to 7pm for approximately one week. They will be here to answer questions and process applications for assistance.

EMA Situation Report for May 14

FEMA has been in the county since last Saturday meeting with people who suffered damages to their property.  Many have already received settlements on their losses.  Some will have to wait until their insurance claims have been settled. Continue to encourage anyone with damages to call 1-800-621-3362. FEMA Visits

Representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have begun visiting neighborhoods in the City of Waverly to assess damages.  FEMA employees carry ID and may knock on your door.  If you are suspicious of anyone visiting your home, ask to see their ID or call 931-296-7792 and ask for a police officer to come verify who they are.
