Waverly Men Attacked by Dogs August 25, 2010 The Waverly Police Department responded to Richland Avenue at 11:02 am today concerning a man being attacked by 2 Rottweiler dogs.  John L. Mays of Waverly, was walking along the sidewalk when the dogs crossed the street from the yard of 228 Richland Ave. and attacked him.  Mays was knocked to the ground and bitten on the legs by the dogs.  The dogs returned to the owner’s home after witnesses intervened.
