Drug Search Warrant Served Near Richland Park

The Waverly Police Department’s Special Response Team served a drug search warrant at a residence belonging to Jeffrey Dyer on West Richland Avenue on November 12.  The investigation was handled by Detective Tony Ahne and Officer Devin Elliott and a significant amount of crack cocaine, powdered cocaine and pills were recovered from the residence.  Officers also recovered some firearms and cash.  “We have seen an increase in the amount of crack cocaine being supplied from the Clarksville...

Veteran’s Day Parade

  The Veteran’s Day Parade will be held Thursday, November 11 at 10:00 AM.  The parade will begin at Waverly Junior High School and end at the Courthouse.  Aterwards, a wreath will be placed at the Courthouse Veterans Memorial.  The guest speaker will be Mr. Dan Alsobrooks, 23rd Judicial District Attorney General.  East Main Street will be closed to traffic during the parade.

Drug Search Conducted at WCHS
