CPA Session 7 Graduates!

The 7th session of the Citizens Police Academy graduated Tuesday night.  The class spent its final night on the firearms range where they were able to shoot a variety of departmental weapons and received information about the use of force.  A graduation ceremony and dinner followed. Elliott Promoted to Sergeant

Chief David Daniel promoted Officer Devin Elliott to the rank of Sergeant on Wednesday.  He will become the evening/night shift supervisor and is also the department training officer.  “Sgt. Session 7 of the Citizens Police Academy Underway!

Session 7 of the Citizen’s Police Academy is underway, and participants held their second session last night (Tuesday).  They covered legal topics related to law enforcement and enjoyed a great deal of discussion on the issues that police officers face.  Pictures are posted on our Facebook page.  Next week, cadets will learn about patrol operations and tactics including real-world scenarios.
