The Department of Public Safety has released its Annual Report for 2014. The report is an overview of WDPS and includes information about personnel, programs, equipment, and statistics.  Although the report is extensive, it is merely a summary of key information and events from throughout 2014. 2014 Officer of the Year

Drug Indictments Served

Halloween Events Oct 31

Armed Robbery Suspects in Custody

October 10, 2014 An armed robbery occurred last night in a vehicle on East Railroad Street in Waverly.  The victim, who was a passenger in a car with the suspects, had his wallet, cash and cell phone stolen at gunpoint.  The suspects dropped the victim off on Circle Drive where he went to a nearby residence and called 911.  Randy Beasley, 19, Myron Strowder, 19, and Matthew McKee, 19, all of Dickson, have been arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery.  They were taken...
